Why d7000 is not available




















Nikon provides a nice guide here. Sometimes the body itself is out of adjustment. Earlier today I did a "clean image sensor" on the menu which I have never done before but I'm wondering if I did it wrong and messed something up. I am now having the same problem - left button not working. Anyone know how to resolve it as it is a pain, I know you can get around the problem by setting the command dials to scroll thru menus and pictures but this isn't really a satisfactory solution..

You'll probably be charged a diagnostic fee. But since the body is still under warranty Nikon will probably fix it for free. Unless the body was subject to "excessive moisture".

As in you were using the camera in a down poor or the camera got allot of water or something splashed or spilled on it. The multi selector is connected to the board using a flat ribbon film style wiring with crimp style connectors. Mine has come undone a couple of times and had to remove backplate and reconnect it.

I put a nice sticky piece of tape to hold it in place last time i fixed it. If the previous suggestions don't work, have you tried a different lens. The problem is just as likely being caused by the lens rather than the camera! Mine has done that on occasions too With the kit lens taking it of and replacing it did the job.
