In small bowl, beat egg and 1 tablespoon water; brush over edge of crust. Fold untopped half of crust over apple mixture; firmly press edge to seal. You can make this dough by hand or in a food processor. Both methods will give you good results. Also, in my opinion, you can use either white vinegar or apple cider vinegar in this recipe.
