Why josie had an abortion

One woman tells her to throw herself off a cliff, while a man named Warren patiently explains that , "someone needs to throw acid on you.

Women who've never met her call her an "ugly no good cunt," a "rank slut," who "doesn't deserve the ability to conceive" and needs "a good hard kick in your piss flaps. It's worth taking a moment to look at what the GMC's good medical practice guide says about doctors' use of social media. The guidance explains that "the standards expected of doctors do not change because they are communicating through social media rather than face to face.

Her crime? Wanting to be as famous and wealthy as TV's Doctor Christian is, and not expressing that eloquently enough. Whether Jessen's behaviour is deemed professionally unacceptable is between him, the GMC and Josie Cunningham, should she choose to make a more formal complaint, but either way I hope he takes some time to reflect on his conduct.

In the meantime, this sudden backlash against abortion highlights just how fragile women's rights remain in Britain, and how easily sentiment can shift. It comes as the result of another disturbing trend, an increasing acceptance of the idea that only certain people deserve human rights. Thus phone hacking wasn't seen as a big deal until more 'deserving' victims than "celebs" were highlighted; only "hard-working" families "deserve" support from the state; people suspected of terrorism don't "deserve" the right to be charged within a reasonable period; and so on, and on.

The moment you introduce the language of "deserving", you invite others to judge just how deserving you are; and a right very quickly becomes a privilege. Josie Cunningham is not, however, the only celebrity who has opened up about the hurt caused from abortion. Despite media propaganda tirelessly seeking to portray abortion as nothing worse than a tooth extraction, we at Life, have a very different perspective. Whilst the pro-abortion lobby claim to be champions for women everywhere, those who regret their abortions are sidelined as they are seen as damaging the cause.

None of these caricatures are fair, compassionate or loving. Women who have undergone abortion need as much love as those facing crisis pregnancies, if not more. Absolute compassion and honesty are vital in their search for peace. Online for Life, a US based pro-life organisation, have created an abortion memorial ; a safe place for mothers, fathers, grandparents, and other family members to remember children who were lost to abortion. The platform not only provides a place for healing and encouragement, but overwhelmingly demonstrates the mass suffering and psychological impact caused by abortion.

Yet, whilst the grief of many is very real, there is hope. Please note that, if you write a reply or comment, others will be able to see it. We reserve the right to delete comments that are antagonistic, offensive, or off-topic.

Within a couple of weeks I went to see someone. I believe now that I do feel beautiful inside. When asked if she now regretted terminating her child last year, Josie got visibly upset and replied: "I deeply regret going against my own morals and beliefs, I'm disgusted with myself.

Following her controversial Loose Women appearance, Josie decided to quit Twitter and said it's worked wonders for her. It's been so tranquil. I've found myself without this urge to go on and see it," she said of the break. The Leeds-born model went on to speak about the bullying she endured as a teenager, which has left her shattered.

At the time, Josie sensationally claimed she had an abortion because her pregnancy would have meant delaying her cosmetic surgery.
